Why we need you

IndyKite is looking for a visionary Product Manager to lead our AI and ML initiatives. Your expertise in AI and ML technologies, combined with your proven track record in product development and leadership, will be crucial in driving innovation. Your role will be instrumental in shaping the future of our AI/ML-driven products and services. By leading the product strategy and roadmap, you will ensure that our AI/ML initiatives are aligned with the company's overall objectives and meet the evolving needs of our customers. Your ability to drive innovation, deliver results, and communicate our product vision will be essential in driving the success of our AI/ML initiatives. As the Product Manager AI/ML at IndyKite, you will have the responsibility to:

• Define and drive the product strategy and roadmap for AI initiatives, in collaboration with stakeholders, including senior management, engineering, design, and marketing teams.
• Gather and prioritize product requirements based on market research, customer feedback, and business goals, ensuring alignment with the company's overall objectives.
• Work closely with AI researchers, data scientists, and engineers to develop AI models, algorithms, and solutions that address customer needs and market opportunities.
• Lead the end-to-end product development process, from concept to launch, including defining user stories, wireframing, prototyping, and testing.
• Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure the successful implementation and delivery of AI-driven features and enhancements.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI technologies and methodologies, evaluating their potential impact on our products and services.
• Monitor and analyze key performance metrics and user feedback to iterate on product features and drive continuous improvement.
• Serve as the subject matter expert on AI technologies and trends, providing guidance and insights to internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Lead product demonstrations, presentations, and discussions with customers, partners, and other stakeholders to communicate product vision, features, and benefits.

What you will need to succeed

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering including 3 years in machine learning, or 3 years with a PhD degree in Computer Science, Engineering or machine learning
• Experience in product management, with a focus on AI/ML-driven products and solutions.
• Strong background in AI technologies, including machine learning, natural language processing, and computer vision.
• Proven track record of defining and driving product strategy and roadmap for AI and ML initiatives.
• Experience gathering and prioritizing product requirements based on market research, customer feedback, and business goals.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including AI/ML Ops, data scientists, database engineers, design, and marketing teams.
• Leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams towards a common vision and goal.
• Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages, such as GO, python, JavaScript, Typescript, react
• Experience with one or more of the following: Natural Language Processing (NLP), ontologies, text understanding, classification, pattern recognition, speech recognition, recommendation systems, targeting systems, ranking systems
• Experience in meta-learning and model optimization such as pruning, quantization, and knowledge distillation
• Experience and knowledge of the identity space is a plus
• Experience and knowledge of graph DBs is a plus
